HISTORY
The Devon Rex breed was bred in 1960.
The founder of the breed is a wild, curly-haired cat who lived in an abandoned mine near Buckfastleigh, a small town in Devonshire in the southwest of England, which by the way borders on Cornwall, the homeland of the Cornish Rex.
